Real Estate

• Providing legal advisory and transaction support services to a private developer of medium-density housing estate on more than 5 hectares of land in Enugu.
• Advised an International Project Development and Financial Advisory Firm on various real estate development and contractual issues in Nigeria, as well as legal and regulatory support.
• Providing legal advisory and transaction support services to a construction company employing innovative processes and technology to deliver buildings.
• Provided legal advisory and transaction support services to the developer of an industrial park and residential estate in Kano State.
• Providing legal advisory and transaction support services to the proposed developer of a residential estate and industrial park on 100 Hectares of land in Lagos State.
• Advised the Concessionaire in relation to on the Fourth Mainland Motorway project, a real estate driven PPP project.  Upon completion, the Concessionaire would become the largest private sector real estate holder in Lagos State.  Assisted with negotiation and drafting of Concession Agreement, contractual arrangements with other consultants and review of the FIDIC contract for the dredging and marine works required.
• Retained to provide legal services to a leading estate agency in Nigeria.  Services include general corporate commercial advice, tax advisory, litigation services and documentation (purchases and leases).
• Provided advisory services to the developer of an internationally branded hotel and tourism centre in Enugu State.  Assisted with acquisition of project site, land documentation, project structuring as well as identification, contacting and negotiation of the Management Agreement with a leading, Europe-based international hotel management chain.
• Advised the developer of a 5-unit, residential development in Osborne Foreshore estate.  Services provided include perfection of title, planning and building approvals, negotiation and documentation of contracts for consultants and contractors, negotiation and documentation of lending agreements and preparation of pre-sales and off-let agreements.
• Advised the leading private telecommunications operator in South-East Nigeria in all its property acquisitions.
• Assisted various clients, with land title verification and other real estate statutory searches.
• Assisted sundry clients with drafting, review, negotiation and perfection of land sale and purchase and lease transactions.
